  • Durgam Cheruvu inspection and supervision of drone spray for mosquito eradication, along with Shri Arvind sir Principal Secretary, on Sunday, 12.01.2020 at 09.00 am.
  • The key segment of the world's longest extradosed cable-stayed bridge was erected in Hyderabad on Tuesday by the L&T project team. The task was completed in 22 months under the guidance of engineer-in-chief R Sreedhar and Hyderabad Zonal Commissioner Hari Chandana.
  • National Tourism Award, 2017 at New Delhi.
  • Shekar Guptha’s Print had selected Mrs. Hari Chandana Dasari as one of the top Four (4) Successful & dynamic IAS/IPS officers who have been making a difference across the Nation, 2019.
  • Figured in the top ten (10) bureaucrats of Better India Magazine – 2018.

  • Was instrumental in initiating Plastic Recycling/Waste Reuse from 2016 onwards in the civic body.
  • First Pet Park with an Integrated Pet Café and Walk area for the owners with their Pets. This was inaugurated in 2017. In Gachibowli.
  • First Theme Park with Panchatantra drawings for easy learning by the kids.
  • First of its kind luxury toilet cafes (Lao Cafes! around 70 units and more) installed across different locations in the city where citizens can access neat washrooms free of cost.
  • GHMC West zone office is the first govt office in T.S. to be ISO certified. ISO : 14001 : 2015.
  • India’s very first and unique concept of Feed the Need concept where GHMC has tied up with an NGO Apple Home who will receive Refrigerators from various donors and maintain them at vantage points across the city. In this chain, anyone can contribute the excess food which is of goo quality and put the same in the Refrigerators. The poor and Needy can take them free of cost and consume the same. So far, there are 40 plus fridges installed across the city. This way No one needs to go to sleep with an empty stomach.
  • One of its Kind Give and Share Kiosks totally made of Recycled Plastic. This platform connects the needy who can collect the used clothes and books from the donor.
  • Bio Methanation – The idea behind this is Nothing should go waste. This plant in West Zone located in a dump yard, which converts organic waste into LPG.
  • First of its kind VAADA App Voter Accessibility App for differently-abled; a mobile app for general elections 2018 to TSLA wherein this app has text and voice-enabled features to improve the voter turnout ratio of the differently-abled.
  • She Mart is an exclusive toilet for women with a small provision store inn by women in search of livelihood.
  • Conducted Breast Cancer Screening for over one thousand (1000) female sanitation workers under the CSR programme. This unique and latest Japanese technology is non – invasive, cost-effective and detects cancer at least eight (8) years in advance. This was done under the corporate sponsorship programme.
  • Drone Technology was used in the fight against dengue, by using drones to spray disinfectants and thereby eradicate Mosquitos.
  • Drones are also being used for cleaning of lakes and water bodies instead of using manual labor. This has been introduced for the first time in the Civic Corporation of Hyderabad, Thereby reducing casualties & manual labor.
  • Shoulder Guns are being used to eradicate/fight dengue in narrow lanes/dense areas.

  • Mobile Toilets – Refitted Bus donated under CSR
  • Mobile Library – Refabricated Bus being renovated under CSR Funds
  • Animal Incinerator – This would be the first Electric Animal Incinerator, which ensures respectful last rites for the dead animals.

Motivation

 
Parents always have been my motivation. Now my daughter also is a source of motivation for me, to the extent that she reminds us that it is our generous social responsibility to leave a better world to the next generation.
