With this noble endeavour, Mrs. Hari chandana has tied up with an NGO by name apple Home who would maintain the fridges. By using her good offices Mrs. Hari chandana could motivate both corporates and individuals to sponsor around 40 plus JUMBO REFRIGERATORS which can store food. The civic body provides space for these fridges at vantage points and connects the donors with the NGO – APPLE HOME who maintain the fridges with security and safety in mind. Excess edible food is scrutinised and allowed to be put into these refrigerators. Any poor and needy passing by may ask and collect the stored food and consume. Thus there is a seamless connectivity between excess food and those in need of food.
